Project Details
Works commenced on the vast Brighton project in 2000. An average of 500 lots per year have been created to meet the strong demand for coastal living. As well as the lot creation an extensive array of road and service networks, lakes, public open spaces, village centres, schools and shops have been constructed to accommodate this expanding community.
Extensive rock blasting has been required to "loosen" the hard "Blackjack" capstone that has been encountered. This has then been earthworked into deep fills and 0.5m of sand placed over all lots to provide a manageable surface layer.
From it's origins of constructing the 1.5Km extension of Marmion Avenue to the massive man made lakes to a thriving community of thousands to a multi award winning development, Brighton really is an achiever in Urban Development.
